We visited Greenlands whilst staying at a hotel nearby the NEC Birmingham as our puppy was competing at Crufts 2024. There are no thrills or frills with Greenlands but everything else was first class from price to quality of food. Mushy peas had a taste maybe only applicable to Brummies but the fish and chips delicious. Service was polite and efficient. Pricing was so much cheaper than Kent. Out of the 1000s of reviews I've done over the years, this has to be the worst fish and chip shop I have ever been to. Absolutely vile and disgusting think sums it up Parking: No disabled parking or access from a car

I was invited in by an Arabian fellow who promised me the food was “wicked” after I tried it I realised it really was. Great food and the lads are a laugh to work with

Walked in met by a bearded Asian guy with flip-flops on, baseball cap on half side ways on his phone looking half baked , he had his hand down his trousers feeling cocky , after ordering i noticed he turned his back and picked his nose then picked my tray up using same hand I instantly cancelled order and got a full refund and went to IDEAL CHIPSHOP just around the corner

Order from this chip shop all the time never had an issue until today. Donner meat and chips came and there was nothing in the the tray. Paid £7.50 for a large and wasn't even a small. No salad either. Called the restaurant to be greeted by a really rude person. Stating well its in a large tray yes but the tray was empty. Told nothing they can do even though the complaint is about the tiny portion size told to complain to uber eats.

Got my order wrong twice after going back to tell them and we are all feeling poorly. Chips were soggy, everything else tasted dry. Disappointed for the price we paid (£16 for 2 meals). Definitely won’t be going back

The price was expensive for what I bought. The mini fish was so mini, it disintegrated as I unwrapped it. There was more stuck to the paper than I actually ate. Some of the chips were hard. First and last visit.

Not my usual chippy but I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't find the staff friendly. I was over charged - as what I had calculated the bill would be from the menu was more when she put it through the till. The chips were hard and so was the mixed meat to which I couldn't even put my fork through. On the other hand, the fish was nice. So, compared to my other chippy which is considerate with their portions, cheaper and offer free salad I won't be returning to this one.

Absolutely amazing food 😍 we had large fish (cooked to order), donner kebab, chips, curry sauce & a piece of chicken. Staff are all friendly, professional service & good social distancing measures in place. 100% recommend!! We will definitely be returning 🙂
